Hi Colleagues
I am interested in views about social worker requests for information on cases where adults are subject to intervention, in my context I am talking about disclosure requests to other councils for the purposes of safeguarding. Reviewing the schedule 2 exemptions there doesn't appear to be any legislation that is bespoke for adult enquiries. Children yes due to the children's act but nothing specific for safeguarding adults? I am interested in peoples views on disclosure. It would appear appropriate for a controller to release information under Schedule 8, 4 (1) (b) (ii). Does anyone have a view on this please.
Thanks
Darren
