I don't know the size of your organisation so it may be that a spreadsheet completed consistently will be sufficient. It is for small businesses and keeps costs low. However, if you are larger with multiple departments, possibly spread over more than one area, then something like Flowz provides a great balance between functionality and costs.
Being brutally honest, the user interface could be much better, but after the initial setting up (which is really where all the work is) it provides a common platform for assets and flows to be mapped. The options/question around each asset and flow is customisable and the developers are continually investing improvements.
However, where it wins hands down is what you get for your money. It's very good value.

Subject: [data-protection] Process Mapping
I am looking into starting a process mapping project throughout our organisation. For it to be consistent, I need a tool that everyone can use, a clear methodology, and an easy-to-use platform. Has anyone had experience with such tools?
Thank you,
Emile
