At least place "ADV, AD, ADVERT" at the front of your subject line so that people can skip past if they desire.

I'm not sure if this still applies (maybe a moderator/admin can confirm) but there used to be an agreement that marketing wouldn't be sent to this list, unless it was on occasional post from someone who was otherwise an active contributor to the list - will you be making contributions to the substantive discussions here?
Maybe things have changed, but it always seemed like a sensible and fair policy, aimed at preventing the list becoming full of marketing and little else.
