Hi All,
Thanks for all the feedback and emails both on the forum and privately, it's certainly kept me busy for the last 48 hours. My hope was to provide a little information (as quite a complex service) and then field questions/ arrange private conversations
As others have said, we are offering a professional service to try and improve access for students. As with any innovation (especially those in healthcare) confidentiality and data handling concerns must be addressed, of course this has been given significant care and consideration during the development of the service. With regards to queries relating to the consultation process and the assessment of a client's medical history, this has been heavily considered and again addressed in order to ensure we don't rely on anecdotal evidence. In regards to our T&C these are readily available on our website, there are no hidden fees, only a one-time booking fee. This can be compared to government agreed fees for GP services which are also available online.
Both the systems in place for data handling and the assessment of medical history are complex and multifaceted, they don't lend themselves to being explained over forum posts. As I have been doing over the last couple of days, I'm continuing to run clinic sessions where a 1:1 discussion can take place, along with a demonstration of our service. I'm offering this to anyone interested and I'd ask you to just send me an email and I can set something up.
Thanks again for all the queries raised and I look forward to discussing them further with anyone interested.
BW,
Rich
