See Peter's point. That's the main reason I said not 100% accurate to keep it simple. In a nutshell (again it's nuanced in reality e.g. a receptionist can be prosecuted for misuse and many have been and we may need to distinguish steps before and after objection ) proper use by the receptionist is not a disclosure which breaches confidentiality.
Bottom line is the client is wrong - it doesn't work like that. Provide or discontinue the service as appropriate and comply with Article 12(4)
