There is a tendency to over think these things, especially where risks might be considered to be reasonable, or low.
The question to ask, is, is consent the best legal basis for this?
Would a reasonable process be to inform everyone that photos may be published, if people have an issue, make it known and then ensure there is a practice to identify them, identify photos they are in and exclude them from further circulation?
I know of some organisations where to get consent from everyone either by one, or by many forms, is simply unreasonable and way beyond any risks that are posed by proper information for individuals so that they can decide if they wish to "object".
Simon.

Subject: [data-protection] Group photo consent form
Hello
The housing trust I work for organise lots of community events and often take photos/videos of attendees. We have a consent form which people complete (their consent will only last a couple of years) but when taking a photo or video, of say 10 people, could we use one form and get them all to complete it? I'm a bit concerned that the 10 people would be disclosing their details (name, signature, contact details) to the whole group, or am I overthinking this?
Any advice appreciated.
Thank you
Mel
