Apologies for cross posting.
We are trying to find out what other institutions are doing in response to the GDPR and email. We have been advised by a third party that our Onsite outlook/exchange email should be encrypted. Have other institutions gone down this route and if so what solution was used?
Also, how are offsite workers (with various devices) data protected (bitlocker encryption for example? ) or is this within contracts or policy.
And is remote desktop access facilitated and if so how? (same as above) ?
Any information regarding these issues would be much appreciated.
