Why are you under the impression that you cannot communicate with a named individual at a business on an unsolicited basis by email?
At the moment, under PECR, the rules on marketing consent do not apply to electronic marketing messages sent to ‘corporate subscribers’, even if sent directly to employees' personal corporate email ([log in to unmask]).
Employees do still have a right under section 11 of the DPA to *stop* any marketing being sent to their personal corporate email address, but consent isn't needed in the first instance.
Or are you preempting potential ePrivacy changes?
Michael
