I only know of a problem several versions back - which our IT concluded was between SuperNova and MS Publisher.
Just in the process of trying to understand if we can use a couple of licenses on our network or if they will need to be on dedicated PCs (USB Pen look useful way forward).
If we get the licenses installed I'll look out for any conflicts.

Subject: PowerPoint and assistive software clash?

Hi all,
I am hoping someone may
have come across a similar problem and may be able to offer
advice.
A student I support is
experiencing problems with her PowerPoint in that in
constantly crashes and is basically now unusable. I am
wondering if it may be a clash with her assistive
software. Here are the details:
It is her personal laptop
(not purchased through DSA) and was new in January. It
is running Windows 10.
She had the Microsoft
Office 2016 suite on the laptop at purchase but after
experiencing infrequent problems with PowerPoint she
downloaded and re-installed it through our institutional
Microsoft Office 365 access. Reinstalling it has
not solved the constant crashing problem and indeed it now
crashes more frequently. Microsoft Word runs fine
She has tried contacting
Microsoft for support but they have directed her to us as
the administrators of the account.
She has the following
assistive software:
SuperNova
(version 16.05)
TextHelp
Read and Write (version 12)
Audio
NoteTaker
Any advice would be gratefully
received
Thanks
