Hi all
This is a sort of Friday afternoon question. Following on from the discussion regarding the maximum fine, can I ask whether if a multinational Service provider (providing services to all of the EU) breaches the GDPR for the personal data being processed by it for people in all members of the EU and is fined by, say the German equivalent of the IC, does this mean that all equivalent Commissioners across the EU (including the IC) have to do the same through the consistency mechanism (Article 63 of the GDPR).
If they did then it would potentially mean 28 x the fine imposed which if at the higher end of the spectrum result in a huge fine across the EU?
