The OP here does not suggest this was a subject access request. Rather, the suggestion is that it's a request from a tenant about a burglary at the premises. Section 29 is referred to, presumably because the tenant is arguing that the data controller should disclose on the grounds that not to do so would be likely to prejudice the detection of crime etc. I'm not sure the tenant's argument can stand up though, if police are investigating.
