Hi all
Our IT team is considering moving to Microsoft 365 and One Drive which would mean our data would be stored in The Cloud. Apparently, we can dictate where our data will be stored so we would stipulate that it should be stored in the UK. I'm told Microsoft will not have access to that data (although I'm sceptical) and that they will effectively act as the Processor in this case. We will have a licence from Microsoft to use this software.
Does anyone have experience of setting up a contract with Microsoft ensuring that our, the data controller's DP requirements are stipulated? Microsoft just seem a bit faceless organisation to me.
Any advice gratefully received! Thanks very much.
Kind Regards
Kate
