I'll be honest, I'm struggling to understand how this is even necessary. My supplier (EON (no endorsement intended)) already tells me when there is a cheaper tariff with another supplier based on my usage.
If they can do that, what need is there for them to share my PII with other suppliers?
Has no one seriously considered fully sharing the mess of data that are the tariffs and forcing companies to tell you when there is a cheaper deal is a much, much, better solution than just throwing millions of peoples personal information around?
