This may be/become an FOI request to you for a copy of the tape. Should they obtain it they may be entitled to broadcast it under fair dealing for the purpose of news reporting.
If this is sensitive personal data (commission of an offence) you'd need to consider whether disclosure is fair and meets a Schedule 3 condition by virtue of paragraph 3 of the schedule to The Data Protection (Processing of Sensitive Personal Data) Order 2000.
All the elements of the incident (who was driving, what made it dangerous, what happened, with what consequences, who was at fault, what the court found) will by then presumably be public, except for the images themselves, and into the public interest mix you may have an Article 10 argument coming to bear and an argument about the benefit of highlighting and bringing home the consequences of dangerous driving.
