Dear all
Have you ever thought how to manage risks of online defamation, libel and slander, trolling and socially engineered attacks while competing for public procurement opportunities or project management contracts?
The digital world has become a global market very different from the one early adopters like me have imagined. And yet, the recipes to make it a better place for everybody seem still rooted in our human capability to share simple values of trust and accountability.
In the latest two articles of my web column icm2re (I Changed My Mind Reviewing Everything) you can find the story of my engagement with public procurement policies and information security and how I came to the conclusion that …transparency is the new privacy: it is up to everybody responsibility, maturity and ingenuity what we really want to make of it.
The story has not been indexed by Google until the first distribution of this promotional message last week to a selected group of contacts, so that it may be still not easily accessible but through the link from the home page of Open Data Assurance or from here:
http://www.brunellalongo.co.uk/icm2re/
In the meantime
- icm2re has eventually, after four years since the first issue!, received an International Standard Serial Number as an online media publication from the UK ISSN Centre
- in the next article I will return (again, after "Lessons learned from the defeat of Google Authorship") on intellectual property issues and how these are related to the exploitation of human rights and personal data in what the Science and Technology Committee has called the "big data dilemma".
Do not hesitate to share the link and get in touch for any talk about information governance, security and flourishing in adverse conditions!
With kind regards
Brunella
