Hi Lesley, would you be willing to share your policy when you have done it. I think this is something which would be of interest to many. It is certainly something I am starting to think about, but haven't got as far as you as yet.

Subject: recording of classes
Dear All,
we are just drafting an accessible learning policy and within it are recommending that recording of all teaching sessions is opened to all students (previously it was technically restricted to those with learning agreements and only in lectures). A question has arisen regarding those sessions which are more interactive and students participate in. What would the position be if another student expressed the wish not to be recorded. Does anyone know if there is a legal position that we need to take into account?
I'd be very grateful to hear colleagues' experience and thoughts in this area.
Many thanks
Lesley
