We have had problems using the AT bar in Moodle - it seems to require setting up on each new page, with the settings for font size etc not usually being carried over. Does anyone know what we are doing wrong or have any advice on how to fix this problem. We have taken it off for now?
Many thanks
Barbara

The University of Southampton has ATbar (https://www.atbar.org/ ) which can be found by selecting the Accessibility tools at the top of the home page http://www.southampton.ac.uk/
I would never dare say that hosting an accessibility toolbar could result in the increased usage of a website even though that would be a lovely thought!
There are too many other things that could result in increased traffic at any one time.
Best wishes

Subject: Web accessibility-Add-ons
Dear all,
We are looking at ways to make our webpages more accessible for disabled users.
I am interested to know if other institutions are using add-ons/ Assistive technology packages on their webpages such as Browse Aloud?
Did you see an increase in web use/site hits after installing it?
Any feedback gratefully received!
Best wishes
Steve
