My understanding is they're allowed:
1) personal data
2) information on who does/may receive the data
3) the purposes for which the information is/will be processed
I don’t think the date can be personal data, a category of recipients or a purpose, so I would say no.

Sarah.

Subject: [data-protection] SARs - Creation dates of documents
Subject Access Requests - You get a SAR asking for everything from 1999 on their personnel file. They also then ask for the creation date of all of the electronic documents about them held in this file.
Would you deem this creation date part of the SAR / part of processing so can be checked by the requester?
If yes, and there's thousands of docs, would you say disproportionate effort to go into everyone and see when it was created?
Lynn
