Dear All,
Hope everything is going smoothly in the run-up to the end of term.
We will be running our half-day training courses in January called ‘Understanding the autism spectrum for careers advisers’.
The course is aimed at any careers professionals within higher and further education, including placement officers and employer engagement staff. So, if you feel that the careers professionals at your institution would benefit from training in this area, please share the details of our course with them.
The course will help careers professionals to:
•review current practice in relation to students with autism
•discuss challenges graduates with autism may have in the transition to employment and practical strategies to overcome these
•generate ideas to improve your institution’s practice, policy and procedures.
