NHS has a dedicated SFT. It's only available (I think) via the N3 connection. Not sure that it is what you require though as I am not sure of the restrictions.
nww.sft.nhs.uk - or type in secure file transfer to the search at www.hscic.gov.uk.
There is also Huddle which is used by a number of government departments plus "Glasscubes" which we are looking at for non-confidential exchanges of ideas and information (sort of a professionals virtual clubhouse).

Subject: [data-protection] Secure Electronic File Transfer (SEFT)
Hi all,
I am wanting to hear from your experiences (again!)
Does anyone use a Secure Electronic File Transfer (SEFT) system or something similar? I am wanting to find out about peoples experiences of sending information when not using nhs.net or they organisations equivalent.
Can anyone give me a name of one they have tried and used successfully please?
Many thanks
Jess
