Hi all
Not sure if anyone can help with this. I've installed and removed many
demo / beta versions of various assistive tech products on my
Vista-based home computer and at some stage I seem to have broken SAPI5
text-to-speech functions, possibly from a corrupt or badly written
installation procedure for a particular product but I'm not really sure
as I didn't notice it until recently.
I've tried rolling back to previous restore points, deinstalling /
reinstalling SAPI and all the other suggestions I've encountered online
for SAPI5 problems without any luck. I wonder if anyone else has
encountered a similar problem and managed to fix it via a method that
wasn't obvious from googling a solution (hopefully without completely
re-installing from Vista from scratch!!).
Thanks
Ian Francis
