Hi all,
I was hoping to get some help on a request that has come up today
We have had a request from a council youth offending team for information on one of our ex students who is in custody. We do receive DP requests from the police on a standard form quoting various sections of DP law which we comply with and send through. This request is not from the police however - does a council youth offending team have the same rights as police and should they not be providing legal grounds for data access as the subject is currently in custody?
Any help appreciated
