Firstly, reliable reports say that Southampton Council have lost their appeal of the ICO enforcement notice requiring them not to insist that taxi drivers must operate CCTV with audio as part of the terms of their licence. The notice which was being appealed is here http://www.ico.gov.uk/enforcement/~/media/documents/library/Data_Protection/Notices/southampton_cc_enforcement_notice_20120723.ashx
Secondly Equifax have successfully appealed a high court judgment which had found that they had breached the 4th DPP through promulgation of inaccurate data in a credit reference report, and that this was a tortious breach of a duty of care. http://www.bailii.org/ew/cases/EWCA/Civ/2013/108.html
