Yes, they are on the list, but their entry (at
http://safeharbor.export.gov/companyinfo.aspx?id=16757) is very sketchy. It
doesn't properly discuss the nature of data that might be submitted via
Survey Monkey to an organisation using their services, or appear to
recognise in any way that they would be a data processor of any data they
handle on behalf of a user. Back to square one?

Hi All,
Ask and you shall receive. 'Survey Monkey' is not on the Safe Harbour
list. However I have been told that 'SurveyMonkey' is. Lesson learned
for me today.
Best wishes.

Subject: [data-protection] Survey Tools
Hi All,
What are your preferred sfdp (safe for data protection) survey tools?
Survey Monkey is popular and easy to use but there is that whole
Principle 8 thing. Do you provide and enforce a corporate survey
solution? Use Survey Monkey but don't collect personal data? Or an
alternative?
Best wishes.
Craig Alexander Moore
