Whilst views about the abilities of anonymity to protect privacy become
mute in this, as several facets of the social sphere are already
engaged in the problematic circumstances described within the case, an
interesting area worthy of some debate exists:-
Do members of this
list see privacy (illustrated by anonymity in the above case) as
something given by society to individuals, or something individuals
relinquish parts of to society as they react with it?
