Do you mean a networked shared drive, or a portable device that several people use?
Security of the portable device is easy enough to do with suitable encryption, or if it's networked then it will hopefully benefit from network security arrangements. However, if the device/drive is accessible by several people then how can files be secured to stop person A reading person B's files when they look at the drive?
In terms of the network, how will the drive be accessed - VPN, web etc? These will all have their own needs and requirements to ensure adequate security.
There are other risks/issues, but they depend on the type of device.
Simon.

Has anyone else given their members a shared drive (with secure access) on which to save any of their data as opposed to a laptop or PC at home ? Are there any issues with this that I've not thought about ?
