Hi
What a good idea, do any other Access Centres have Open Days? Are they
publicised anywhere?
I am based in south-west London and it would be great to take some
students along to one (might have to be next year).
Regards, Paul

Subject: Disabled Students' Allowances (DSA) Open Day at Sheffield
Regional Assessment Centre
Good Morning,
RE: Disabled Students' Allowances (DSA) Open Day
The Sheffield Regional Assessment Centre would like to invite you and
your colleagues to a free open day aimed at staff working with
prospective Higher Education (HE) students, staff working with disabled
students in HE or current/prospective students.
The aim of the open day is to provide essential advice and guidance
about the types of support and equipment that is provided through
Disabled Students' Allowances and how the funding process works. There
will be plenty of opportunity to ask questions, and to see some of the
technology often recommended to disabled students.
A programme of talks will run throughout the day and there will also be
a suppliers fair and a networking lounge.
The event will take place on Thursday 21st June from 10am - 4pm, at the
Heartspace, Owen Building Level 2, SHU City Campus.
Please follow the link below for further information and to register
your place at the event.

Please note: There are limited places so please book early.
We look forward to welcoming you to the university.
Many Thanks,
Amy Porter
