Taking Penny et al's points into account, what are people doing to assist
students diagnosed with an ASD during exams - if anything? I think this is
a very important area to explore because to date, I have been unable to
locate any firm evidence/responses to assist such students during exams.
Many people agree that an 'interpreter' would be ideal but I haven't found
anywhere offering this option. In discussions with other assessors and the
NAS, there would not appear a particular option exists although I am
currently exploring the exam reg guidance for GCSE and A levels to see if
these offer any enlightenment.....
Kind regards
