Subject: Use of CSV volunteers for non-medical helper roles
Dear all
I am thinking of using CSV for at least one of our students, in this case a postgraduate student, for whom DSA funding is limited. I would welcome some information from those of you who have used CSV volunteers for note taking etc. Please can you advise me how you work out the rate that you claim from a student's DSA in these circumstances. Do you claim back an amount to cover the costs of accommodation? Do you ad on an admin fee etc? Any hints and tips about how you make it work for you would be most welcome.
Many thanks
Heather Griffiths
