All students at our university who live more than two miles away are able to purchase an on-campus parking permit. Students who live within two miles of the campus are not allowed to purchase a permit. However, disabled students, living within 2 miles of the university, are prioritised for on-campus parking permits to park in standard student bays (for which they still have to pay). In less frequent cases where a disabled student is not a blue badge holder, but has evidence that they genuinely need to park in an accessible bay, they are prioritised for a parking permit (for which they have to pay) but are then issued an additional supplementary parking permit (at no extra cost) allowing them to park in the accessible bays.
