Under Data Protection there is also an exemption for 'information which
has already been made public under other enactments' whicgh would of
course include all the directors' information required to be registered
at Companies House under the Companies Acts.
Financial information about a company, as published at Companies House,
isn't personal information of course, and is 'already published'.
Credit ratings or references on a company (as opposed to its Directors
as individuals) likewise isn't personal info but might be proprietory to
the organisation who provided it who might object to its publication
under FOI. (otherwise a cheap way of obtaining such references indirectly?)
