At the SFE seminar I attended on Thursday, the team made us aware that they understand frustrations with the forms and are hoping that they will have accessible versions to roll out in 2012. I think they said it's partly to do with the DirectGov site.
You'll also be pleased to know that the phone line for Disability Practitioners is being taken back into the DSA team, and will be staffed by experienced advisors. Estimated time for this was end of June.

Brilliant, - Thank you very much. I have pointed out to SFE that these forms are not inclusive or accessible, so hopefully that might "gee" them up a bit in getting this sorted.

Hi Simon
I have made saveable versions. I will email them to you and anyone else
who emails me on [log in to unmask] on request.
My versions are only completable and saveable. I wasn't able to fix the
reading order or have time to put proper field labels in so I apologise
for these not being fully accessible to screenreader users. I am hoping
Acrobat version X may be less of a nightmare for this.
I emailed SFE about this a few weeks back giving them detailed
instructions which they haven't responded to. I shall resend it. Any
advice on who to send it to would be very helpful.
Natalya
