The current ICO guidance states that parents, grandparents etc can take photos/videos of their children in school plays, sports etc providing the images are for their own use. A parent has taken a video of his two children winning a relay race in the school sports. He put it on YouTube for relatives who live abroad to see. The school has asked him to remove it (which he has) as it obviously shows other children in the race.
Has anyone any comments on this ?
