Apologies for cross-posting
Dear all,
At the recent CHESS (Consortium of Higher Education Support Services with Deaf Students) Planning Group meeting we discussed the likelihood that the cost (or perceived cost) of supporting (or even admitting) deaf students may become more of an issue in the near future. In some cases, this may already be happening. In order to gain a clearer picture of the current picture across the sector and of your views on this, I am circulating an anonymous survey. It's simple and quick to complete - a couple of minutes unless you want to write a lot of comments!
We would be grateful if you could complete this. I will then collate the answers and circulate the (anonymous) results and comments.
Obviously, you can identify your institution in the survey comments if you like, but there is no need to.
If, having seen the survey feedback, the Planning Group continue to feel that this an area of concern, we will then raise it with Skill and NADP.
Please complete the survey here: http://www.surveymonkey.com/s/6GHGVXF
If you have any questions about the survey, you can e-mail the list or me individually - [log in to unmask]
If you are interested in joining CHESS (it's free!), please see the 'Membership' section on our website for details: www.uclan.ac.uk/chess
Thank you,
Bryan
