Ibrahim,
Such a wallet would be a godsend for those working in child protection cases. In those instances, people are often lugging around huge amounts of paper on very sensitive topics.
I was waiting for something like to emerge so that all the parties come to the meeting, plug in their wallets (with the respective read access) and then everyone sees the same information at the same time. The notes can be entered directly onto everyone's wallet at the same time. When the meeting finishes, with the verbal transcript recorded through voice recognition software, is uploaded so that all people concerned have the same record of the meeting.
No fuss, no muss and the amount of paper carried into and out of the meeting.
Best,
Lawrence

Subject: [data-protection] Data Sharing
A project that could radically reduce the amount of personal information we share in our dealings has been revealed by IBM researchers.
The ABC4Trust project is developing an "electronic wallet", with encrypted versions of all a person's details.
A query by a device like a "chip and PIN" reader will involve only the information that is strictly necessary. The idea could also be applied to online transactions, and aims to give people more control over their personal data.

Don't forget that the ICO's consultation on the Data Sharing Code ends on 5th January 2011. There is still time to send them your views.
