Ibrahim,
Even crosscut shredding can be recreated with the right technology. The amazing power of imaging software and Bayesian statistical pattern recognition allows for shredding to be recreated.
The surest way to destroy a document is to pulp it or burn it.

Subject: [data-protection] shredded documnts - are they safe?
Forensic expert repairs shredded banknotes:

If they can do banknotes they do shredded confidential documents?
Can we be sure that our shredding company is not sending the shreds to Taiwan.
How far do we need to go to ensure that destroyed confidential data will not reappear somewhere (like Wikileaks)?
