Dear all,
I am glad the idea is of interest. I, too, was hoping to do this electronically if possible.
The first step is to have 1-3 people to act as a panel. They could present a short written work to the list and then they could discuss.
From that initial discussion, the rest of the list could join in with questions, observations, and comments.
The reason why I wanted it electronic is we could carry it out over a couple of days so that people had time to consider points, review what was said, and develop their points.
A final write up would cover the major issues and discussion threads and we could have that as a resource for the list.
I was thinking we could get a mix of academics and practitioners. We have academia, legal, and public sector and I would like to capture how each area is wrestling with the emerging issues both theoretically and applied.
If people are interested in that approach, I can write something up formally.
I would be grateful if people interested in presenting initially and then answering questions would contact me.
Best
Lawrence

I think this is a great idea. I know travel costs are now an issue in the public sector.
Colleagues may wish to think about having a virtual meeting (e.g using Skype, video calls etc.)
I would be happy to assist in any way.
