Nic,
What happens if the post is a salary specific one. For example, it was advertised at a specific salary ie 125k? Some posts may have a fixed salary and not a band. I know this is rare, but it could occur.
Best,
Lawrence

When the post was advertised the pay scale would also have been advertised so it is unlikely to be considered personal data.

Subject: Publishing Pay scales
Dear List members
I've got a query about publishing roles and pay scales (and therefore
salary).
Some of the roles are occupied by a single individual, and are easily
identifiable as they are the only ones who occupy this role.
So my question is does this count as personal information. and should
this be published in this way (I am not talking about senior
management)?
Thanks for your assistance
Stewart Kirkup
