I would be interested to know how other institutions handle the forwarding of
postal mail to students once the students have left the institution. We
haven't actually advised the students who have just left that we will use their
home address for forwarding mail and are concerned if we do forward the mail
parents may open it and see things the students may not want them to see.
Some of the mail comprises utility bills - should we return to sender or put the
mail in another envelope clearly addressed to the ex student at their home
address?
Grateful for advice on how other institutions manage this.
