The University of Essex has a policy by which students can inform the
Board of Examiners of extenuating circumstances which might have
affected their assessed performance.
I've been asked to draw up some guidance as part of this procedure on
disability and what adjustments might be reasonable. This is to include
guidance on students who become disabled whilst on their course. There
are two parts, guidance for
1) The Board of Examiners
2) students
Do you have any guidance for your institution and would you be willing
to share this with me?
