I have had it demonstrated at an Apple show room and I have also trialed it on an Apple laptop. It is passable but limited compared with Jaws. Having said that, none of the Windows assistive technology software packages e.g. Jaws, Supernova or Hal will run on an Apple nor do the suppliers envisage Apple versions.
The "zoom" facility on Apple machines is quite acceptable for partially sighted students and is claimed to go up to 40X.
Hope this helps.

Is there anyone on this group using Apple's VoiceOver? If so, do you regard it as the equal of more traditional screen readers?
