I was at SKILL's HE conference a couple of weeks ago and there was a
session with the head of the SLC who didn't know anything about the issue
but once he had heard from people there said "we shouldn't have done it"
meaning introduce a change of procedure without consultation and
communication.
The understanding I got was that he was going to review the whole thing.
Others will confirm with a better recall than me I'm sure.
