Hi Claire
We had a big debate about this and have tightened up our policy. I
have a feeling I already sent you a copy a while back, but can't
quite remember. Let me know if you'd like one. If you want to have a
conversation about it, please call me on:0121 476 1181 ext 2421

Subject: Revision notes in exams
Firstly thank you to all the people who sent me Learning Support
Agreements: the material has been very helpful indeed and I'll get
back to you individually when I've drafted ours.
Now another query: does anyone have any thoughts or even policies on
the issue of dyslexic students taking memory prompt sheets/revision
notes/books into exams? I've searched the archives and there was some
interesting discussion but I'd welcome more thoughts!
I am seeking any guidance on what might be the criteria for permitting
such an adjustment, i.e. what would indicate that this would be
appropriate?
And what controls does anyone have on the prompts/notes/books that may
be taken in?
with thanks,
Claire
