Hello all,
At Oxford University, we have a unit, ARACU (Accessible Resources Acquisition
and Creation Unit) who undertakes the production or aquisition of materials for
disabled students. We produce electronic text, braille, digital audio (daisy)
and tactile diagrams (baisc ones). We also lend assistive equipment to students
so that they can try it before they pruchase it.
All the best,
Teresa Pedroso

for converting materials into alternative format for disabled students (i.e.
electronic format) as required or is it expected that this is the
responsibility of the tutors teaching those students who need materials in
alternative format?
