Hi
Does anyone have any procedures or thoughts on the process in relation to release of children's information where we have requests from solicitors and where there is a litigation friend rather than a parent or guardian involved.
Do you release without any form of consent? If the child is over 12 do you seek consent? Or you do you release on the basis that the solicitor and litigation friend acts on the child's behalf with their knowledge ( as far as possible given the children's ages in most cases) or their best interests
Any views appreciated
