As DPA and EIR, although not FOIA, derive from European directives I wonder if there is an EC requirement for the ICO to provide information in other Community languages?

Not so long ago when I was learning Italian at Suffolk College I was
advised to beam into the Italian program on Radio Bedford every Tuesday
evening. Presumably it is still going.

There is still an Italian consular facility in Bedford, used also as a
polling station at times. I remember being offered the option, around 10
years ago, to vote for the italian elections to the European Parliament
at a polling station kindly hosted in Enfield Council's offices, so
avoiding the need for North London italians to traipse over to Eaton
Square.
The number of languages spoken in spoken in London is more than 300
