Thanks.
I should have said - the students has dyslexia & no other needs as far
as I am aware.

Subject: Re: Recording device - advice required
The Oluympus DS range tend to set the standard for voice recorders and
tend to be the most regularly
recommended. It will however depend if the student has any special
requirements (e.g. dexterity
issues visual impairment etc) as buttons are a little small but on the
whole they're great little
recorders. Prices vary depending on model, DS-30 is entry level but
only real diffrence is
recording time.
Hope this helps

Hi All
A student (who doesn't want to apply for DSA) wants a recording device
to help him revise. He wants to read out loud then upload it on to his
pc. Has anyone got any recommendations for such a device? It's not an
area I know much about. He didn't have a particular budget in mind but
said he wanted a good one.
Any ideas?
Thanks
Rebecca
