Something else which has just occured to me - my own employer does this
but as the data relates to aggregated academic progress of students on
courses it doesn't really identify any staff. The course numbers are
used instead. Of course those people with access to the timetables will
be able to see to whom that academic progress relates, but only after
that additional investigation.
Would it be possible to present the sales data in that way?

I think the pragmatic answer is to include the fact that percentage
attainment data will be made "internally public" at such events
