Hi Debra,
How long is the placement? Would Access to work help?
Regards
Pauline

Subject: Funding transport costs on placement
Afternoon,
I have a Social Work student out on placement who is registered blind and
requires transport to visit clients homes. The placement providers are
currently funding this but aren't overly happy as it is costing a fair
amount of money.
I am hoping someone could point me in the direction of the literature
which states that the placement providers must make this adjustment.
Many thanks
Debra
