Hello
I would also be interested in this. I have been trying to find out
the same information myself.
Thanks

Subject: Re: Payment for research assistants
Hello,
We are currently reviewing levels of pay for different types of
support worker, in particular research assistants. As opposed to
readers/scribes, research assistants can provide a more specialist
service and we are having some trouble establishing an appropriate
payment level. We are keen to get it right, as funding for non-DSA
eligible students comes from our (limited!) discretionary disability
support fund, so it is important that we are paying neither under nor
over the odds.
I was wondering if anyone would be willing to share their support
worker payment levels with me, so I can get a picture of the average
amount? If you would prefer to reply off list you can reach me at

Thanks,
Gwyneth
